Cancellations

Orders may be canceled prior to shipment or processing, typically within a short window (e.g., before payment clears or items are allocated).

Once an order has shipped or been processed (common for in-stock bullion), cancellation is not possible, and a standard return process applies.

Market loss fees may apply if metal prices have moved unfavorably since order placement (industry practice to protect against volatility).

Custom or special-order items (e.g., rare numismatics or engraved products) are non-cancelable and non-returnable.

Returns and Exchanges

We accept returns for most unopened, undamaged bullion and coin products within 3-7 days of receipt (aligned with competitors like Money Metals Exchange's 3-day notification window and JM Bullion's 5 business days).

Items must be returned in original mint-sealed packaging, tamper-evident seals intact, and in resalable condition—no scratches, cleaning, or handling that affects value.

Returns are subject to a restocking fee (typically 5-10% or a minimum like $35, whichever is higher, similar to SD Bullion's policy).

Additional market loss fees may apply based on spot price changes during the return period.

Numismatic, graded, or certified coins often have stricter rules or are non-returnable if opened.

For depository services (firstdepository.com): Physical withdrawals from storage are considered final sales; internal no-cost transfers between depositories or accounts are available as an alternative to physical returns.

Return Process

Contact us immediately upon receipt if there's an issue—email or call for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns without an RMA will not be accepted or credited.

Customer is responsible for secure, insured return shipping costs (using carriers like UPS/FedEx with tracking and signature).

Ship to our designated address (provided with RMA).

Upon inspection and approval, we'll issue a refund to the original payment method, minus applicable fees.

Processing time: 10-20 business days after receipt.

Refunds

Refunds are issued only after we receive, inspect, and approve the returned items.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped).

For stored metals, arrange sell-backs through trusted dealers with potential intra-depository transfers to minimize costs and risks.

Damaged or Defective Items

Inspect shipments upon delivery. Refuse damaged packages and note issues with the carrier.

Report any damage, shortages, or defects immediately (within 24-48 hours recommended).

Provide photos for claims. We'll file insurance claims and arrange replacement or refund at no cost to you (covered by our full transit insurance, including Lloyd’s of London for depository assets).

In-Person Options

Avoid shipping returns by visiting our physical showrooms for direct buy-backs, exchanges, or consultations. Our locations emphasize transparency with on-site testing and immediate offers.

Exceptions and Additional Notes

No returns on jewelry, statues, non-bullion items, or scrap if applicable (higher restocking possible).

International orders: Subject to additional customs fees; returns may be restricted.

Secure storage with partners like Brinks can serve as a flexible holding option instead of immediate returns.
